About Us

locally owned, family owned, family focused with amazing staff

Family owned

Dr. Berger has been a proud resident of Georgia since 2009, and she is a graduate of the University of Georgia, where she earned her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. During her academic journey, she also welcomed the arrival of three energetic boys who occasionally lend a hand at the clinic, assisting with tasks like cleaning kennels and other miscellaneous duties.

In addition to her three boys, her fourth child (aka her husband), a talented, handsome, intelligent, dream boat of a man, plays a pivotal role in our clinic’s operations, including writing this web content (if you couldn’t tell). He holds a degree from Georgia Tech, and contributes to our clinic’s commitment to excellence.

Team Focused

We prioritize the well-being of your pets and the satisfaction of our clients. While we may not offer weekend hours, we believe in providing the highest standard of care by having a dedicated and contented team.

We take inspiration from companies like Chick-Fil-A, who prioritize their values over profits by remaining closed on Sundays. Similarly, we value the health and happiness of our staff because we understand that a joyful team delivers the best service. Our commitment to maintaining a positive work environment ensures that you’ll always be greeted with smiles from our exceptional staff members, who are passionate about what they do.

Paws and People First

We believe in putting paws and people first, ensuring that every fur baby receives top-notch care while their human counterparts are treated with equal compassion and respect. Your family becomes our family, with every whisker, wagging tail, and heartfelt concern given our utmost attention and expertise.

Healing Beyond Medicine

We understand that healing transcends beyond medications and surgeries; it envelops comfort, understanding, and gentle touch. We embrace a healing philosophy that intertwines advanced medical care with a nurturing environment, ensuring every pet and pet parent experiences warmth and kindness in their journey toward wellness.

Compassionate Care, Every Step of the Way

From the first nervous visit to joyful wellness check-ups, our team is here to provide unwavering support and compassionate care every step of the way. We embrace each moment with empathy and assurance, guaranteeing that your beloved pets are in the gentlest of hands, and you are always met with a friendly, understanding face.

Fur-ever Devoted to Well-being

Our devotion to the well-being of your pets stretches far beyond immediate needs. We are fur-ever committed to being your trusted partner in ensuring the ongoing health and happiness of your cherished companions, offering a haven where preventative care, comprehensive resources, and enduring support are always at the forefront of what we do.”

The Faces Behind our Success

We Couldn’t Do It Without Them

Dr. Berger

Meet our head veterinarian, Dr. Berger! A proud alumna of the University of Georgia, Dr. Berger brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our animal hospital. When she's not busy saving the lives of our furry friends, she's busy tending to her own animal kingdom at home. With two dogs, three pigs, and 13 chickens to care for, Dr. Berger is a true animal lover at heart.

Rachael is an Atlanta native that has been working in veterinary medicine for over 20 years. She graduated from the Gwinnett Tech Vet Tech program in 2002. She enjoys placing IV catheters, drawing blood, and training others. In her spare time she enjoys reading, crafting and organizing. The beach is her happy place. Rachael has 2 Clumber Spaniels Hobson and Carley as well as a Sussexx Spaniel Charlotte. "I'm not short. I'm fun sized"

North Georgia native Jessica has always been passionate about animals, growing up with a variety of household pets from dogs and cats to reptiles and birds. Since 2015, she has been working as a veterinary assistant and is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Veterinary Technology. Outside of work and school, Jessica enjoys hiking, traveling, and reading, whether in the mountains or at home with her feline companion, Romeo.

Mr. Berger

Dr. Berger insisted that my bio said "Mr." Berger because she loves to rub it in my face. I got my Masters from Georgia Tech but I don't get a cool title. I manage most of the business side of the house, websites, marketing, finance, HR, basically anything that isn't drugs or animal related. But sometimes the boss calls me to help out and let me just apologize in advance if you get stuck with me. I will pet your animals, chat with you for half an hour (I grew up in the south, IMO you should expect a little chit chat) and slow down the entire process, but that's half the fun. It's not like she can fire me.
